Allie got another ear infection a couple weeks ago (her second), and it never seemed like it went away, even though she was on a strong antibiotic. So on Thursday I took her back to the doctor and discovered her ears were still bad. So bad that there was a good chance her eardrum would burst. But she really wasn't as cranky as you would expect. Mostly she was just having a hard time sleeping at night. The doctor was actually surprised she wasn't screaming all day. So we tried a new antibiotic, and again it didn't work, so today she got an antibiotic shot, and she'll get another one on Wednesday, and probably on Friday, too. I'm praying it works because I feel bad for her, and I don't want her to have to get any more shots or tubes or anything else. Plus, she keeps getting diarrhea and a terrible diaper rash. Poor girl. She's getting used to sleeping in her carseat, though, which is actually a good thing because then she can fall asleep relatively easily at church.
